SSL termination in MOSS Farm using Cisco ACE

It will increase the performnace of the MOSS Farm accessing. To achieve this we use alternate access mapping to handle the routing of requests to the two web applications Intranet and MySite. This configuration is a result of the Cisco Ace Load Balancer that is handling the SSL termination and request forwarding. The end user types in https://intranet.moss.com and the load balancer handles the SSL part and forwards the plain old http request to SharePoint.

This looks like a topic that needs further discusion. While working to implementing an internet form, we met some challenges with forwarding user requests through a firewall. It was problematic at best. I would like to schedule a demonstartion of the Cisco Application Networking for MOSS. What say you?
