Deploying SharePoint application as Internet and Intranet application

I want to understand how same sharepoint applicant can be accessed from internet and intranet as a same time. For Intranet, it should take windows authentication and directly land to Home Page while in case of Internet, it should ask for authentication and then move forward.Secondly, how implementing ISA server in this scenario would help.See More
